Oudheid en Middeleeuwen

Al bij de oudgriekse filosoof Plato (ongeveer 428 – 348 vC) vinden we uitgebreide gedachten over hoe een samenleving in elkaar zou moeten steken. Ze zijn apart en boeiend en confronterend. Allerlei auteurs hebben later hun commentaar geleverd op Plato's utopische ideeën, de ene negatief (Popper), de ander positief.
